Recipe
ingredients:
3 apples, halfed & thinly sliced
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 cup water
1 package of puff pastry
1 ts powdered sugar
procedure:
add thinly sliced apples into a sauce pan alongside water over medium heat & cook the apples for 2-3 mintues until soft
strain the apples & let them cool down
in the meantime cut the puff pastry into long 2 cm / 1 inch thick strips
working on one strips at a time, place 10-12 slices, peel side out, overlapping each other, leaving 1 inch border of dough along the bottom. sprinkle over sugar & cinnamon before folding the bottom of dough
onto the apples, leaving top of apple slices exposed
place them in a muffin baking tray
bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 200°C / 400°F
serve by sprinkling some powdered sugar over the warm apple roses
