it‘s been two months since my girlfriend came out of the shower & showed me this cooking account she created to inspire me to further my cooking skills & come up with new recipes. as a celebration I put together what I call a caramelized nectarine explosion.
Recipe
ingredients:
1/2 of a nectarine
1 slice pineapple
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tbsp greek yoghurt
1 cup frozen cherries
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp water
1 ts cinnamon
toasted hazelnuts
procedure:
add frozen cherries, sugar, & water to a small sauce pan & bring to a boil. once the cherries are cooked put everything into a blender & blend for 15 seconds
in a large frying pan or grill, add the maple syrup alongside the pineapple slice & the nectarine & cook until caramelized
cover about half of the plate with cinnamon & place the caramelized pineapple slice in the center of the plate. place the nectarine face up on top of the pineapple. fill nectarine core with greek yoghurt & sprinkle toasted hazelnuts to finish off
take 5 teaspoons of the blended cherry reduction & plate each of them to a semi circle. use a chopstick to run through the drops in a clockwise motion
