a seasonal flavor explosion brought to you by this fennel carpaccio. ✨

a very simple but super tasty starter or refresher during a meal.


Recipe:

ingredients:

1 fennel

2 blood oranges

a handful of pumpkin seeds


vinaigrette

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp vinegar

juice of half a lemon

1 ts mustard

1 ts mayonnaise

a pinch of salt, black pepper, & chili flakes


procedure:

  1. thinly slice the fennel & save the fennel fronds for garnish

  2. place the thinly sliced fennel on a plate

  3. in a small bowl mix together all the ingredients for the vinaigrette

  4. poor vinaigrette over the fennel & let marinade for 5-10 minutes

  5. fillet blood oranges & cut into small pieces & sprinkle over the fennel

  6. sprinkle fennel fronds & pumpkin seeds over as a garnish

  7. iss / mange / enjoy!
